What to Expect Tesla is looking for an IT Risk and Compliance Experienced Analyst to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team with practical experience in Software Development Life Cycle process and the testing of new software capabilities, programs, applications, and risk assessments. You will help run the risk and compliance efforts to design, evaluate and improve Tesla's IT Controls. You will join the IT Compliance team as part of the CIO's organization and manage activities across the global organization. This position is available in the Bay Area, CA; Austin, TX; Salt Lake City, UT. What You'll Do Partner and coordinate with Business process teams, engineers, legal, internal and external auditors, and other testing groups to best address relevant risks to Tesla Continuously identify areas of improvement, create action plans, and implement changes in a timely manner Collaborate with engineers, business process owners, InfoSec, Internal Audit, external audit, and systems owners in the testing of new software capabilities, programs and applications, and risk assessments Facilitate test of design and test of effectiveness between auditors, Business owners, IT application owners and process owners Detailed documentation of SDLC packages, risk assessments and IT controls testing for new applications and programs Design and test new automated controls and IT General controls for new systems coming into SOX scope Build relationships with control owners to become a trusted advisor Work closely with Legal on privacy requirements Assess incoming AI agent implementations to ensure full compliance with SDLC requirements, SOX controls, data privacy standards, and emerging regulatory frameworks What You'll Bring In-depth knowledge around Global Risk and Compliance efforts Experience in assessing SDLC requirements for new implementations Experience leading and mitigating risk in projects throughout an organization Understanding of the SOX framework and associated Controls Relevant knowledge and experience testing design and operation of IT and Business process Controls Experience evaluating automated controls and knowledge of developing new automated control processes Great people skills and ability to work well in fast paced team environment with a wide range of technical and non-technical teams Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams globally as well as problem solving under pressure and dealing with multiple stakeholders Experience with ISO 27701 and implementing a Privacy Information Management System CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CIPP/E, CIPM or other professional certifications/associations is a plus Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
