Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor PACU

Inova Alexandria hospital is looking for an experienced Perianesthesia (PACU) Nurse to support our unit as a mid-shift Unit Supervisor. Inova's Perianesthesia RNs work pre and post op; Phase 1 and 2. This is a Full Time (4x10 hour shifts) to cover hours from 11.00a-9.30p.

The OR is equipped with 11 surgical suites. Comprehensive range of surgical specialties to include, orthopedics-total joints, sports medicine, spine, General Surgery, ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, vascular, neurosurgery, podiatry, and maxillofacial.

RN Unit Supervisor PACU Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience is required
• Degree from an accredited school of nursing, BSN, or ADN within one year of BSN completion
• RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required from AHA

Preferred RN Unit Supervisor PACU Qualifications

• 2 plus years PACU nursing experience to include PreOp, Phase1 and 2 experience
• 1 year minimum charge, supervisory or management experience.
