Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.

• This position is accountable for operating the x-ray rooms, portables, and CT Scanner in a safe and proficient manner.
• Transportation of patients, handling telephone calls for scheduling patients, answering questions related to reports of exams.
• Knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy and positioning are essential for a quality exam.
• Must be able to handle multiple demands simultaneously and keep a helpful attitude towards patients, their families, office personnel, physicians, and associates.
• Must be able to coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA
• Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
