Title: Financial Analyst - Pricing Strategy & Optimization
Reports to: Karl Huch
Expected compensation: $85k/year
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing Optimization - Evaluate pricing performance across service lines, customer segments, and geographies to identify margin opportunities, leakage, and improvement areas. Recommend pricing actions that balance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Pricing Tool Development - Design, build, and maintain scalable pricing models, calculators, and dashboards that support sales teams and leadership in making informed pricing decisions.
  • Data Analysis & Insights - Analyze historical pricing data, win/loss trends, cost drivers, and market dynamics to generate actionable insights that guide pricing strategy.
  • Revenue Stream Support - Partner with business unit leaders to understand unique pricing structures across multiple revenue channels
  • Governance & Process Improvement - Support the development of pricing policies, approval workflows, and standardized processes to ensure consistency and control across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align pricing decisions with financial targets and market realities.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking - Create and maintain pricing dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting to monitor pricing effectiveness and margin performance.
  • Market & Competitive Research - Conduct research on industry pricing trends, competitor positioning, and customer value drivers to inform strategic pricing decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or equivalent field experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with proprietary tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build pricing tools, models, and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present insights to senior leadership.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
