We are 100% employee-owned, mission-aligned Navy Department of Defense (DoD) federal government contractor in search of a driven, early-career Corporate Recruiter with defense industry experience who thrives in a performance-based environment. This role requires a proactive, high-output Recruiter capable of managing multiple requisitions nationwide across engineering, IT, business, and Technician skill sets.

  • Rapid requisition qualification and launch
  • Consistent weekly activity production
  • Strong pipelines for cleared and niche technical roles
  • High responsiveness to hiring customers and candidates
  • Strict adherence to ATS process and compliance standards


What You'll Do

  • Partner with hiring customers to qualify requisitions, clarify technical requirements, and build effective sourcing strategies.
  • Manage full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
  • Build proactive pipelines for cleared and niche technical roles using job boards, advanced Internet sourcing techniques, referrals, and networking.
  • Utilize JobDiva (ATS) to manage workflow, ensure process integrity, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations applicable to government contractors.
  • Consistently meet prescribed performance expectations and assigned deliverables.
  • Deliver a responsive, professional candidate experience that reflects LCE's culture and values.
  • Support broader HR initiatives and team projects as needed.


Ideal Education & Experience

  • One-three years of recruiting experience preferably in defense or government contracting or staffing industry; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with cleared recruiting or technical skill sets (engineering, IT, Technicians)
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (JobDiva experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working toward activity-based metrics
  • Proactive mindset and desire to grow within a professional recruiting team
  • Strong commitment to teamwork
  • Self-starter with high initiative and proven learner

Physical Demands and Expectations:

  • Occasional travel to support onsite meetings, job fairs, etc. (<10%)
  • Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
  • Ability to use phone, computer systems, and other office equipment
  • Occasional physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs/stepstools, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting (up to 30 pounds)
