IT Support Specialist

Description
The IT Support Specialist provides day-to-day technical support for employees by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, software, and network access. This role helps ensure reliable system performance, secure user access, and efficient operation of IT infrastructure across the organization.
Location: Pheonix, AZ
Duration: Fulltime
Pay Range: Up to $75k depending on experience
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, monitors, printers, and peripherals
  • Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to servers and network infrastructure
  • Support onboarding/offboarding by provisioning and deactivating employee system access
  • Maintain antivirus protection, patches, and system updates
  • Assist with server maintenance, backups, and recovery procedures
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and system configurations
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
  • Support security policies and ensure compliance with company standards
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of IT support experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Windows environments
  • 2+ years of experience with Active Directory and user access management
  • 2+ years of experience in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 or similar collaboration platforms
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Any work experience in Solar Module manufacturing plant, a plus but not required
  • Mac support experience is a plus
