You will prepare fragrance applications to meet the needs of creative and development teams, ensuring quality. You will manage lab operations, act as an important contact for customer projects, and provide technical support across several teams. Your Title: Application Lab Technologist Location: East Hanover, NJ You will Report to: Application Lab Manager Responsibilities: Fragrance Application & Lab Work: * Prepare fragrance applications in multiple bases for creative and development teams, ensuring accuracy and quality. * Are the contact in the lab for specific customers and projects. * Perform physical-chemical measurements and collect data. * Help revise technical documentation. * Prepare internal bases and perform color matching, recommending dyes. * Operate and maintain standard lab equipment safely. * Manage sample requests, fragrance oil orders, and customer base inventories. * Maintain accurate records and communicate results promptly. Lab Organization & Guidance: * Support laboratory materials administration and ensure a clean environment. * Oversee and mentor junior technicians and trainees. * Help maintain lab organization and manage project submission samples. Customer Support & Technical Assistance: * Provide technical support to our teams (Creation, Development, Sales) and external customers. * Solve technical issues related to fragrance application in products. * Study the stability and characteristics of fragrance formulations. * Present technical talks to internal and external audiences. * Network with internal and external contacts to exchange knowledge. Your Professional Profile Includes: * Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or similar field. * 1-3 years of lab experience, with knowledge of laboratory techniques in perfumery. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Givaudan-specific software. * Olfactory ability and basic knowledge of chemistry and perfumery. * Knowledge of lab safety, fragrance formulation, and ISO protocols. Compensation and Benefits The established salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
