Protective's VP Business Enablement leads a team responsible for identifying, developing, and testing solutions to complex, high impact problems or focus areas that are identified through corporate planning processes. The team will lead work cross functionally across business, and technology teams to understand complex business needs, translate those business needs into solutions and proactively identify opportunities for enhancements and automation of existing systems and processes. The VP is a proven change leader with a passion for results-driven transformation and innovation. The team will also serve as a Center of Excellence for process improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify business opportunities and needs and be a champion of lean, automation, and technology to help modernize and solve business problems.
  • Evaluate new concepts and emerging technology trends within the industry and develop them into new innovative solutions for the business.
  • Present views and recommendations on the potential impact and how to apply emerging technology trends to stakeholders and management.
  • Discover, incubate, and accelerate concepts into business proposals and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideate, collaborate, and experiment with ideas
  • Lead evolution of technology with a view toward continuous improvement of business processes and data integrity by applying appropriate technology to solve business problems and translate it to actionable business requirements.
  • Supports large-scale enterprise-wide projects that incorporate a proactive and innovative solution to addressing business challenges and achieving organizational goals and objectives. Integrates how the big picture of the initiatives comes together from definition through implementation on implications across the business.
  • Ensure organizational alignment in the design and execution of initiatives.
  • Plan and execute effective change management programs to ensure business acceptance and user effectiveness with the solutions delivered and ensure technology investments align with transformation imperatives.
Key Partnerships
  • Collaborate with business leaders and IT leaders across the company to drive solutions that enable Protective to achieve its medium to long-term strategy.
  • Work in partnership and leverage the AI and Innovation team to identify new opportunities.
  • Work with Executive leaders to gain sponsorship for investment and support of transformative solutions through education and business case development
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of proven experience driving results across large programs within the financial industry
  • A track record of progressing new insights, processes, and strategies that add business value, across a matrixed organization
  • Experience in developing strategy and delivering business transformation in areas such as process re-design, change management and technology enabled business change.
  • Experience leading in a cross functional setting with a proven ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to transform and navigate changing needs and priorities, ambiguity and short deadlines
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, creating presentations, and articulating ideas to stakeholders and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with an ability to adjust communication based on the audience.
  • Prior management experience
Protective's targeted base pay compensation for this position is $155,000 to $180,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive and long-term incentive (LTI) based on individual and Company performance.
