Summary

As the Senior Manager, Retouching, you will lead the craft, quality, and execution of retouching across the Chobani brand. You'll set the visual standards for post-production, ensuring every image from campaign photography to packaging and ecomm meets the highest level of polish, consistency, and brand integrity.

This role is both hands-on and strategic: you'll own complex retouching work, build scalable workflows, partner closely with Creative and Studio leadership, and guide external partners or freelancers to deliver best-in-class results.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute high-end retouching, color correction, and compositing across studio, campaign, packaging, and digital assets
  • Own the visual quality bar for all post-production outputs, ensuring consistency across channels and touchpoints
  • Establish and maintain retouching standards, best practices, and workflows that scale with the team
  • Partner with Creative Directors, Designers, Producers, and Project Managers to align on creative intent, timelines, and delivery expectations
  • Manage post-production timelines and prioritize workloads across multiple concurrent projects
  • Oversee external vendors, freelance retouchers, and production partners, providing clear direction and quality control
  • Develop and maintain file prep, crop, color, and output specifications across print, digital, and retail formats
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend tools, systems, and efficiencies to improve production
  • Support studio shoots as needed with on-set color and post-production planning
  • Mentor junior team members and help elevate craft across the broader creative organization
  • Champion and uphold Chobani's brand guidelines and visual standards
Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional retouching or post-production experience, preferably within an in-house creative team or agency
  • Advanced expertise in Photoshop and professional retouching workflows (color, lighting, compositing, texture work, file optimization)
  • Strong understanding of print production, prepress, color management, and digital output requirements
  • Experience leading projects and managing vendors or freelance talent
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for light, color, and realism
  • Ability to balance hands-on craft with strategic thinking and process building
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and solutions-oriented

The salary range for this full-time position is $121,000.00 - $190,300.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
