Powertrain Cost Engineer (Transmission & Driveline) develops direct material costs and tooling investments for Powertrain system specific components using activity-based costing methodology while working from bill of materials, drawings and/or samples. Cost Engineer responsibilities will include utilizing Stellantis component cost methodologies and processes to develop, analyze, and provide guidance for cost convergence to internal stakeholders. The Powertrain system Cost Engineer will assist the global teams with technical cost evaluations to estimate component costs for projects in advanced through serial life cycle phases. An ability to be agile, curious, and an engaging cross functional teammate is required to support cost evaluation activities within a global organization. Key deliverables:
