Summary


The Graphics Designer plays a key role in bringing our brands to life in market. This position will produce sales-related graphic print materials in a variety of different formats for projects including but not limited to posters, banners, case cards, table tents, beverage lists, presentations, and various other materials. This position will focus on projects with a high level of custom sizes, multiple design elements and complex layouts.



Primary Responsibilities



  • Create content layouts and produce materials to support marketing programs for the beverage industry.
  • Complete graphic projects incorporating images (templates, logos, product images, etc.).
  • Use aesthetics and design principles, while exercising independent judgment, to design content to meet product and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain current templates, images, and logos to ensure brand integrity.
  • Prepare files for print, ensuring copy, design, and color accuracy, occasionally providing proofs for approval.
  • Responsible for graphics production including substrate loading, pre-flight, and outputting prints.
  • Accountable for meeting production lead times within department standards.
  • Provide general maintenance and troubleshooting on printshop equipment to include wide-format printers, small format printers, and cutters.
  • Perform all aspects of print production for finished design projects, including cutting, taping, rolling, packaging, and shipping.
  • Capable of balancing creative aspects of job with fast-paced production requirements to produce large quantities of output on varied medias.
  • Handle customer service requests from Sales Team, Suppliers, and other internal departments at all times.
  • Perform work-flow documentation, file management and archiving, job tracking and invoicing.
  • Manage a high-volume of production under specific time constraints.
  • Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations and enforce compliance.
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, manager, vendors, suppliers, and others.
  • Provide web graphic elements for use with customer facing website to include editing, graphics, content, and link maintenance.
  • Special Tasks as assigned


    • Act in lead role to direct workflow for a team of people in a high-volume production print shop.
    • Maintain graphic supply inventory and order as required or directed.
    • Provide web graphic elements for use with customer facing website to include editing, graphics, content, and link maintenance.


  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's or graphics degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum (3) year of applicable graphics production work experience
  • Experience and/or ability utilizing Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
  • Experience using Macintosh Computers and comprehension in associated workflows such as naming conventions, file types/formats and file hierarchy


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Experience utilizing ONYX poster Shop, preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of large-format printing a plus.


Compensation


  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
  • Hired applicants may be eligible for incentives/ bonuses/ annual bonuses.
