Description The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a part-time Student Assistant to join the UCLA TIES for Families. The UCLA TIES for Families is an interdisciplinary program dedicated to optimizing the growth and development of foster/adoptive children from birth to age 21, and their families. Primary duties include: Front desk duties (Answering calls, filing, faxing, etc.) Assisting with scanning forms Assisting in data collection and data entry Participating in special assigned projects Other administrative duties as assigned Hourly range: $17.90-$26.00 Qualifications Required: Must be a current UCLA Student Ability to work independently and pay attention to detail Ability to write clearly, concisely, and grammatically correct notes and memos Ability to operate photocopier, telephone systems, fax machines, and other general office equipment Prior experience working with children (highly preferred) Ability to interact appropriately and congenially with all staff and patients
