North Bethesda, MD Pay from: $23 Per Hour MUST: 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant Recent experience working in an internal medicine practice Strong phlebotomy skills Ability to administer EKG's and manual BP's Administering injections Assisting with exams and procedures Comfortable stocking and maintaining rooms Comfortable triaging phone calls Making pharmacy calls Experience entering and updating patient information in EMR Handling patient call backs DUTIES: The duties of Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vitals Administer injections Draw blood Administer EKG's Generate prescription requests for approval and forward to pharmacies Review treatment plans Process prescription requests Scan medical records Take detailed messages for physicians and forward Perform patient call backs Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
