This position is located at our Loves Park Campus on N. 2nd Street and will be working on AWS 2nd shift (Fri-Sun 3pm-3:30am), with a rotating on-call schedule. Key Responsibilities:
Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and execute preventative maintenance on machinery following standard operating procedures. Diagnose Basic Issues: Identify and troubleshoot straightforward machine malfunctions using established guidelines and diagnostic tools. Execute Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs on equipment under close supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Document Maintenance Activities: Accurately record all maintenance and repair tasks in maintenance logs and reports. Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate technical information and work effectively with team members to ensure optimal machine performance.
Key Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of basic machinery and equipment used in machine repair. Diagnostic Skills: Ability to identify and diagnose simple mechanical issues using standard procedures. Manual Dexterity: Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery with precision. Safety Compliance: Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Successful candidates typically have: Level 1:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Associates degree in electronics, mechanical or industrial discipline is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial, mechanical or electrical manufacturing role OR 1 years of experience in a machine repair technician role highly desired
Level 2:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Associates degree in electronics, mechanical or industrial discipline is preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial, mechanical or electrical manufacturing role OR 3 years of experience in a machine repair technician role highly desired
