Position Summary The College of Arts & Science (CAS) is seeking an dedicated Assistant Dean for New Students to join the team. The Assistant Dean serves as a senior staff member of the College Advising Team assisting with the strategic planning and assessment of overall advising operations and support services for the College's 9000+ students. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Advising, the Assistant Dean serves on the CAS Dean's Cabinet and represents the College to various internal and external constituencies. This position leads a multidisciplinary team and develops programs and initiatives that support the new student experience for first year students, second year students and transition/transfer students. The Assistant Dean is responsible for all aspects of student leadership, development and engagement as well as fostering an inclusive and engaging community for new students. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $95,000.00 to USD $115,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
