ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes orders and patient charges in an accurate and timely manner.
- Answers the telephone and call lights in an appropriate and timely manner, providing information or relaying messages to patients and staff.
- Directs visitors to patients' rooms.
- Maintains medical records of current patients.
- Maintains supplies, including scanning, stocking, and ordering new supplies and disposing of expired or damaged supplies.
- Provides patient care as assigned and per routine, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures according to CNA job duties and expectations
- Documents care provided according to standards.
- Maintains a clean work and patient environment.
- Floats to various units based on identified needs.
- Participates in department and unit performance improvement activities.
- Verifies accuracy of charges entered
- Facilitates a welcoming environment assisting with visitor wayfinding.
- Assemble patient folders and charts for unit
- Rauland responder/Vocera/versus set up for new staff
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Completion of a CNA program. Advanced CNA program preferred.
Completion of a Unit Clerk course or equivalent on the job training (which can be provided). CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE Nursing Assistant Certification in applicable state.

SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to handle, finger, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, steep, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION Responsibilities include interviewing, and training CNAs; planning, assigning, and directing work. SUPERVISES N/A PAY RANGE:
