Patient Accounts UMKC School of Dentistry Clinic Job Description
The Receptionist is responsible for providing front-desk support and exceptional customer service to patients while ensuring accurate administrative, billing, and insurance-related processes. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in verifying insurance coverage, handling patient inquiries, processing payments and refunds, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Receptionist works closely with clinical staff, student doctors, and patients to ensure efficient operations, compliance with established protocols, and timely resolution of patient accounts. Duties for Receptionist area include but are not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as up to $18.25 per hour Application Deadline
