Position Summary: The Sustaining Engineer II is responsible for maintaining and improving existing firearm products to ensure consistent quality, performance, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving production and functional issues at assembly and range, implementing design improvements, and coordinating changes with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Operations, and R&D. This position will also conduct root cause analysis, support value engineering efforts, and assist in optimizing assembly processes for efficiency. Additionally, they document and manage engineering changes using CAD software and PLM systems, ensuring products meet customer and engineering requirements.
