Role Overview
The Strategic Cloud Engineer (SCE) - Networking is a customerfacing technical role focused on helping organizations design, adopt, and optimize Google Cloud networking solutions, with deep specialization in Google Cloud Network Connectivity Center (NCC).

This role partners closely with customers, sales teams, and internal specialists to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient hybrid and multicloud network architectures using Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Technical Strategy
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, guiding network architecture decisions for hybrid, multicloud, and onpremises connectivity using Google Cloud.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture workshops, and solution design sessions focused on Network Connectivity Center (NCC) hubandspoke models.
  • Align customer networking requirements with Google Cloud best practices and supported connectivity patterns, including VPC, hybrid, and gateway spokes. [us.bebee.com]
Solution Architecture & Design
  • Design endtoend networking solutions leveraging Network Connectivity Center to centrally manage connectivity across:
    • Google Cloud VPC networks.
    • Onpremises environments.
    • Other cloud providers
  • Advise on appropriate use of Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, router appliance spokes, and NCC Gateway based on customer needs. [us.bebee.com], [us.bebee.com].
  • Define routing, segmentation, and connectivity strategies that balance performance, security, and operational simplicity.
Networking & Security Enablement
  • Guide customers on integrating security service edge (SSE) solutions using NCC Gateway for secure usertoapplication and crosscloud traffic flows. [us.bebee.com].
  • Support customers in understanding NCC access control, permissions, and shared VPC considerations when operating at scale.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
  • Partner with Google Cloud sales, product, and specialist teams to drive successful customer outcomes.
  • Provide feedback to product teams based on customer use cases, architectural challenges, and field insights related to NCC.
  • Contribute to internal enablement through documentation, best practices, and reusable reference architectures.
Proofs of Concept & Adoption
  • Support proofs of concept (PoCs) and pilots demonstrating NCCbased connectivity architectures.
  • Help customers plan migrations and transitions from legacy network topologies to NCCmanaged architectures.
  • Assist customers in operational readiness by explaining observability, logging, and troubleshooting concepts available within NCC and related services.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience designing or supporting enterprise networking architectures, including routing, segmentation, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Handson knowledge of Google Cloud networking concepts, such as VPCs, routing, VPNs, and interconnect technologies.
  • Experience working in customerfacing technical roles (e.g., solution architecture, cloud engineering, technical consulting).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing or advising on hubandspoke network architectures in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with Network Connectivity Center, including VPC spokes, hybrid spokes, router appliances, and NCC Gateway. [us.bebee.com], [us.bebee.com].
  • Understanding of multicloud networking and enterprise WAN transformation patterns.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex networking concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
