Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for Rope Access III to support our operation in Bellingham, WA. The successful candidate will join our mechanical team, contributing to a variety of hands-on maintenance and repair activities in support of facility operations. Experience with turning valves, insulation work and repairing steam piping/tracing is a plus.

We are currently seeking local candidates based in Bellingham, Washington or the surrounding area. While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, local availability or a willingness to relocate is preferred due to the nature of this role.



Responsibilities

    Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
  • Be conversant with relevant work techniques
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
  • Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
  • Assist other technicians as required
  • Ensure operational safety of all equipment


Requirements

  • IRATA Level 3 Certification required
  • Experience with turning valves, insulation work and repairing steam piping/tracing is a plus.
  • Serve as a member of the mechanical team, performing a variety of hands-on maintenance and operational tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience operating and adjusting valves and related mechanical equipment.
  • Proficiency in insulation installation, removal, and repair.
  • Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing steam piping systems and heat tracing.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in an industrial or plant environment.
  • A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
  • Current first aid certification
  • A valid drivers' license is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
  • Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
  • Local to Bellingham, WA or surround area

  • Pay Transparency: As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $34.75-$57.91 an hour depending on experience and applicable certification.
