Job Description
General Overview

The Geophysical Field Operations position will support our Geophysical Department by conducting noninvasive geophysical surveys using a range of advanced technologies. This position primarily focuses on operating and maintaining our MultiChannel Ground Penetrating Radar (MCGPR) system, which is deployed nationwide for various projects.
This role involves extensive travel, handson fieldwork, and exposure to a diverse array of engineering disciplines. The ideal candidate is adaptable, selfmotivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Essential Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company and project-specific safety rules, protocols, and standards.
    Participate in pretask planning and promptly report any safety concerns.
  • Maintain high quality standards on all assigned work.
  • Perform geophysical surveys and assist with geophysical data collection as part of a developinglevel Geophysicist role.
  • Conduct site visits, field observations, and field data acquisition tasks.
  • Support data collection and testing activities to assist in project evaluation, planning, and permitting.
  • Outline and apply appropriate investigative techniques and methodologies for site studies within the field of expertise.
  • Interact with clients when necessary regarding projectspecific tasks.

Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, sometimes for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification in a relevant geophysical or engineering field, depending on state requirements.
