Job Description
Supplier Quality Engineer:
*Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to Investigate supplier and operational quality issues and ensure the issues to be well defined and communicated to the cross-functional team.
*Assess the impact of the issues and work with cross-functional teams to liaison a path forward to disposition in order to mitigate production line downtime risk.
*Manage the coordination and disposition of the nonconformance through Process Change Notifications or Deviations.
*Help root cause analysis and provide fact & data-based information to concerned parties for problem solving.
*Manage deviation and process change requests. Support NPI projects.

Typical task breakdown:
-Review rejects from both incoming quality inspection and production floor.
-Investigate critical quality issues, create problem statements and communicate to the cross-functional team.
-Manage and coordinate the containment activities (sorting/rework) to minimize the impact on production operations due to quality issues.
-Support problem solving and continuous improvement projects.
-Coordinate the disposition of Process Change Notifications and Deviations.

Education & Experience Required:
-Years of experience: 2-4 years in the manufacturing industry.
-Degree requirement: Bachelor"s degree or equivalent work experience
