The Senior Portfolio Manager supports and the Corporate Banking team by obtaining required reporting information from borrowers (financial statements, compliance certificates, evidence of insurance, etc.). Responsible for portfolio reporting and monitoring related to risk and compliance. Logistical/operational oversight (liaison) between Corporate Banking, Underwriting, Credit and Commercial Loan Operations. This is a hybrid position which requires in office hours.
Education and Experience Requirements: *College degree or commensurate experience. *Minimum of five years of experience credit, lending, underwriting and/or portfolio management. oWill consider formal credit training and three years of relevant experience *Knowledge of federal banking rules and regulations pertaining to commercial lending. *Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage in financial/analytical conversation and recommendation. *Knowledge of commercial credit policies, procedures, and loan documentation. *Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements: *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Ability to exercise sound judgment. *Strong oral and written communication skills *Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines *Strong attention to detail Essential Functions: *Manage departmental workflow and prioritization. *Manage loan administration of syndicated and participated credits. *Ensures the department provides professional, courteous and efficient service to all internal and external customers. *Provide direction and support to loan administration staff within the department (e.g. loan onboarding, problem resolution, treasury management, etc.). *Review, prioritize and coordinate portfolio administration requirements including: oAnnual reviews and renewals; oFinancial statement monitoring/collection; oExpired/missing insurance; oDocument and/or collateral exceptions; oGeneral ledger reconciliation; and oBeneficial owner compliance. *Provide ongoing portfolio monitoring and assessment reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually). *Maintain a thorough knowledge of, and compliance with, banking regulations and adherence to bank policies and procedures. *Review, organize and analyze financial information relating to existing and new Corporate Banking customers. *Utilization of software/technology platforms including: oBank mainframe oShaw System oNautilus oGoldmine oPrecisionLender oTValue All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program.
