SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the UXO Supervisor, the UXO Technician will support third-party validation seeding in support of a Remedial Action (RA). The UXO Technician II will escort seed emplacement teams and perform MEC/anomaly avoidance at proposed seed locations. UXO Technicians who can also record real-time kinematic (RTK) global positioning system (GPS) and/or AGC data collection (APEX-Mini or APEX-UltraLight sensors) are preferred. UXO technicians must hold a current certification in first-aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. All UXO technicians must be HAZWOPER-qualified in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120/1926.65. This includes:
This hourly position pays $40.42 per hour base salary plus $4.93 per hour health and welfare (H&W) benefits. A budget of up 8 hours each way is been allocated for travel time. Meal and lodging per diem rates are $249 per day ($227.50 on the first day of travel and $64.5 on the last day of travel).
