Summary of the Job:

The Sr. Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision making across FNTS by collecting, analyzing, and transforming data into actionable insights. This position reports through Finance and partners closely technology, sales, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, develop reporting and dashboards, and drive continuous improvement in data processes and analytics capabilities. The role blends strong analytical expertise with business acumen and a focus on delivering clear, reliable insights to leadership.

About This Role:

Key Accountabilities
  • Collect, extract, and analyze data from internal and external data sources to support business and technology initiatives
  • Extract, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting and analytics solutions
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations used for decision-making across FNTS
  • Perform exploratory and ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into analytical solutions
  • Support data governance, audit, and compliance requests by ensuring timely delivery of accurate and well-documented data
  • Maintain and enhance documentation, procedures, and controls related to data management, reporting, and analytics processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytics capabilities

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics in a business or organizational context
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large and complex datasets with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); strong Excel skills required
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and working knowledge of SQL or relational databases
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Compliance with bank policy, laws, regulations, and BSA/AML requirements
Desired
  • Strong analytical aptitude with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience with enterprise or cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience building automated dashboards or reports
  • Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments
  • Interest in process improvement, data governance, and data quality standards

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
