Description

The Senior Manager - Finance/Controlling Systems is a strategic techno-functional leader within the IT organization, responsible for enabling global Finance processes through SAP S/4HANA and integrated enterprise systems. This role serves as a trusted partner to Finance, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury and Tax, with a strong emphasis on M&A enablement, post-merger integration, and financial systems harmonization.
The position combines deep SAP FI/CO expertise, strong business acumen, and proven leadership in complex, global environments. The Senior Manager drives roadmap definition, solution design, and execution across Finance domains while ensuring scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
* Act as a senior IT Finance leader partnering with Finance, Controlling, Treasury and Tax stakeholders to align technology strategy with business objectives.
* Serve as a thought partner to Finance leadership on process standardization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
* Define and own the Finance systems roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and corporate strategy.
SAP Finance & Controlling Ownership
* Lead end-to-end ownership of SAP S/4HANA FI and CO modules, including: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting.
* Ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems including MM, SD, PP, Payroll, Ariba, Concur, GRC, Tax engines, and external financial platforms.
* Drive solution design for global close, consolidation, statutory reporting, management reporting, and planning.
* Provide architectural oversight, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and support global operations.

Required Experience and Skills

* 12+ years of experience delivering and supporting SAP Finance and Controlling solutions in complex, global organizations.
* Proven hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, including deep functional and integration knowledge.
* Demonstrated experience leading M&A Finance systems initiatives, including integrations and harmonization.
* Strong understanding of financial close, controlling, planning, statutory and management reporting.
* Experience integrating SAP with systems such as Ariba, Concur, Payroll, GRC, Tax engines, and planning tools.
* Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional programs and manage external partners.
* Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* SAP SAC Planning, Group Reporting, or Hyperion PBCS experience.
* SAP certifications in FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance.
* Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech environments.
* Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $129,400 - $247,800 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
