As a Sales Analytics Consultant, you'll serve as the sales organization's expert in using, understanding, and acting on customer data. You'll help businesses make sense of massive amounts of transaction, travel, and engagement data so they can understand who their travelers are, identify opportunities, and deliver experiences that delight customers while moving the metrics that matter. You'll combine deep business knowledge with strong technical expertise to unlock powerful insights for each company, then leverage exceptional communication skills to transform those insights into compelling stories that drive action from both internal and external partners. Responsibilities
Deliver Customer insights and opportunities through internal and Customer data, Account Manager insights leveraged throughout the sales cycle to achieve revenue targets. Work seamlessly with Account Managers and the Customer Success Team to deliver revenue driving account strategies, tactics, contract proposals, and effective presentations Transform raw data into easily understandable, presentable and actionable findings to identify opportunities and ensure performance, sharing them with Senior Leaders, sales team partners, customers, and others Use technical skills (SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, Big Data Concepts) and business knowledge to provide answers to business requests and proactively identify new opportunities Provide the research and analysis of trends, and the development of new processes, tools and reports to support increased revenue from the corporate accounts and greater efficiency within the sales cycle Identify revenue opportunities through internal transactional data, third party data, account manager or Customer Success Team insights, or a variety of other sources Communicate effectively with Customers delivering insights, opportunities, QBRs, and RFPs Develop tailored reports in order to meet business requirements and provide financial analysis to support corporate sales operational and Customer activities Partner with the Account Managers to identify opportunities for improvement and support quarterly business reviews Serve in the role of a mentor to develop analytical skills within and outside the team Engage in the development, improvement, and quality control of data sets through conversations with internal and external partners Utilize appropriate data management procedures including privacy standards May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, economics, and their applications Knowledge of the principles and methods for moving People or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits Knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services throughout the sales process. Skilled in identifying, collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data which may also include turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. To include:
Use of data prep tools (such as Alteryx or similar products) Use of data visualization software (such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Advanced use of SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets Expert use of Microsoft Excel
Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Ability to clearly articulate complex topics and distilled insights to a variety of audiences, bridging the gap between data and stakeholders Ability to listen, understand, and communicate ideas via writing, speaking with others, or presenting to a group Ability to think independently, work autonomously, handle ambiguity, and pivot quickly to solve hard problems Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events) Ability to independently transform raw data into clear and actionable insights, clearly communicate and influence others, execute strategies, and adapt for performance across a variety of entities (companies, customers, industries, etc.)

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $103,750 per year to $115,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
