This position represents an important opportunity to join a dynamic, statewide social work program committed to preparing advanced generalist practitioners who address complex individual, family, organizational, and community challenges across diverse settings. USU's Social Work programs (BSW and MSW) are grounded in a generalist and advanced generalist framework that integrates case-to-cause practice models, emphasizes systems-level thinking, and prioritizes ethical, strengths-based, and inclusive approaches to practice. Our faculty are deeply committed to teaching, research, and engagement that advances community well-being, improves rural service delivery, and strengthens workforce development across the state of Utah. Position: This is a nine-month appointment with USU's social work program (MSW and BSW degrees) beginning August of 2026. Tenure-track positions have a role assignment of 75% Teaching, supervising, and advising; 15% Research; and 10% Service. Tenure-track positions are renewed annually during the probationary period assuming acceptable performance of the role assignment. Clinical-track positions have a role assignment of 90% Teaching, supervising, and advising; and 10% Service.
