Schedule: 45 hour workweek, Overtime Eligible
Salary Range: $75,000 to $82,000 annually (30.36 - 33.20/hr)

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results driven Marketing Manager to lead all property level marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive top line revenue across leisure, group, food and beverage, and special events.

The Marketing Manager serves as the brand steward for the property and ensures all initiatives are aligned, data informed, and performance focused.


Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Revenue Growth

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that support revenue growth across all segments
Maintain and oversee property marketing calendars to ensure consistent and strategic campaign execution
Drive on property activations and promotional initiatives designed to increase ancillary revenue including food and beverage, events, and experiential offerings
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance brand visibility and generate new business


Content Creation and Brand Management

Serve as brand steward, ensuring adherence to brand standards and appropriate use of brand assets
Capture and create marketing assets including photography and video content for use across display advertising, organic social media, website, and digital campaigns
Edit photo and video content using platforms such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop
Actively engage with guests and clientele during events and activations to enhance brand presence and capture authentic content


Digital Marketing and Website Management

Manage digital marketing efforts including coordination with agencies and optimization of paid media channels such as Three and Six, Expedia TravelAds, and Booking.com Sponsored Ads
Own and manage the property website within WordPress, including ongoing audits and updates
Conduct digital journey testing including test bookings and test searches to ensure optimal user experience and conversion performance
Optimize digital presence across third party platforms including OTA listings and Cvent to ensure accuracy and performance


Social Media and Email Marketing

Create, schedule, publish, and report on all social media content
Manage content calendars, influencer partnerships, and collaborations
Develop and implement promotional and transactional email campaigns through Revinate
Monitor performance metrics and provide monthly reporting with actionable insights


Collaboration and Vendor Management

Partner with Managing Director, Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, and Corporate Marketing to align initiatives with business objectives
Manage external vendors and marketing partners to ensure deliverables meet expectations and timelines


Compensation Breakdown

This position is overtime eligible. For each week:

The first 40 hours are paid at the regular hourly rate.
The additional 5 hours are paid at 1.5 times the overtime rate.

For an annual salary of $80,000 based on a consistent 45 hour workweek:

Regular hourly rate: $32.39 per hour
Overtime hourly rate: $48.58 per hour

Weekly earnings:
40 hours O $32.39 = $1295.60
5 hours O $48.58 = $242.90
Total weekly pay: $1538.5

Annualized earnings with overtime: $80,000

This structure ensures that with a consistent 45 hour workweek, total annual earnings align with the offered salary.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience in hospitality marketing, preferably within an independent or lifestyle hotel
Strong content creation skills including photography and video editing
Experience managing websites within WordPress and optimizing digital user journeys
Knowledge of paid media channels, OTA optimization, and digital campaign reporting
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast paced environment
