THE ROLE: AMD is seeking an Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Technical Sales Manager to support AMD commercial solutions, focusing on deep engagement with priority Focus 100 global enterprise customers. This role will provide a lead technical interface with global enterprise business and technical decision makers, in partnership with AMD Field Sales and Field Applications Engineers. The position will function as an overlay, and provide incremental technical support to win new business with enterprise. Key responsibilities include initial enterprise cloud and infrastructure assessments, and driving deeper technical depth to understand customer requirements and pain points. The role will extend to positioning AMD's hybrid cloud value proposition tailored to each customer's unique needs. The individual will tie AMD's cloud and datacenter solutions to specific customer technical and business outcomes. It will be critical to partner with cloud service providers on modernization, migration and right-sizing efforts, workload analysis, and deliver cloud spend / TCO modeling. A key priority for this role will be reducing technical friction, and successfully positioning AMD's value proposition and leadership vs. competition, with the goal to gain customer commitments to validate through Proof of Concepts (POCs). This role will partner closely with other members of the AMD team to bring forward AMD's full portfolio to showcase the broad financial and technology impact AMD can bring to Focus 100 accounts. The role will help model best practices for other AMD sellers to raise the standard of enterprise engagement. THE PERSON: Does this sound like you? We'd love to talk!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: If you have a broad technical understanding of Server / Cloud CPUs, platform architecture and the development process needed to successfully win datacenter and cloud opportunities with end customers and experience working with large enterprise customers, we'd love to talk.
