Job Description




As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed, driving Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will complete routine patrols of guest areas and grounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support access control as needed. You will provide friendly customer service, clear communication, and timely incident reporting while working with teammates in a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and rooted in integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and medical calls, and report findings per site protocol.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort areas, including lobbies, hallways, amenity spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, key control practices, and after-hours checks as assigned by location procedures.
  • Complete accurate documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoff notes, and communicate security-related observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
