Position Summary:

The Associate Director of Advanced Analytics will have primary responsibility for all aspects of personal and non-personal promotion response analytics and brand deep dives across Lundbeck's portfolio of products. This individual will leverage secondary analytics, statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to evaluate and understand the brand performance.

Essential Functions:



  • Leverage rigorous statistical modelling techniques to evaluate various marketing promotions and sales force analytics.
  • Leverage machine learning and AI to build predictive algorithms to lead analytics in strategic targeting, segmentation, marketing optimization and sales analytics.
  • Run hands on statistical models such as AI-Driven Profitability Segmentation, Marketing Mix, Attribution Modelling, Event Stream Analytics & Predictive Analytics.
  • Evaluate synergistic impact between marketing promotional channels and optimize the brand investments.
  • Develop, lead, and conduct deep-dive analysis to provide timely deliverable of actionable insights for QBR and tactical planning sessions.
  • Work as the thought partner / strategic advisor by partnering on the creation, execution, and performance of brand strategies.
  • Support business needs in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating a sense of urgency, tenacity, and commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Responsible for communicating findings, results, and recommendations of analysis/research with a strong comprehensive story and enable key brand level decisions while working collaboratively across functions.



Required Education, Experience, and Skills:



  • Accredited Master's degree in quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of analytics experience.
  • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industries or consulting for Pharmaceutical/Biotech industries
  • Experience in running rigorous statistical models on pharmaceutical data and ability to build a comprehensive brand story.
  • Strong experience in digital media data and analysis.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint).
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally without direct authority.
  • Ability to develop analytical plans to inform brand level decision-making.
  • Ability to move from analysis to business implications and make strong presentations of data to all levels of the organization.
  • Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.



Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:



  • Accredited Master's Degree or PhD in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Sociology or other related fields with a strong emphasis in quantitative methods.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical data (e.g., retail/ non-retail, distribution, specialty pharmacy, payer, promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data) both for traditional pharmacy products as well as medical products.
  • Experience with payer mix (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) analysis, formulary analysis and strategy development.
  • Experience with ML/AI coding and implementation.
  • Experience with google 360 or equivalent media dada.
  • Experience with visualization in Tableau or Power BI.
  • High proficiency in SAS, R, or Python.
  • High proficiency in SQL coding.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products.



Travel



  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.



The range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Illinois, if selected for this role, and may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $195,000 - $225,000 and eligibility for a 20% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company's long-term incentive plan. Additional benefits for this position include flexible paid time off (PTO), health benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision and company match 401k.
