This is a paid internship, range of $22/hr - $39/hr (depending on role and qualifications) for those currently pursuing undergraduate degrees and higher rates for those currently pursuing graduate level degrees. DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Communications, Marketing and Engagement (CME) division handles engagement initiatives, marketing campaigns, promotions and partnerships, media relations, social and digital media as well as graphic and video asset production. The Systems and Equitable Engagement intern will support an increasing volume of customer-facing initiatives requiring communications and engagement. Tasks include helping execute multi-channel communications and outreach plans, staffing booths and engaging with the public, managing the collateral that supports customer outreach events, and maintaining the Engagement team's database and master calendar. Projects may be generated by other teams within the department, as time allows. POTENTIAL PROJECTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be a current college student in good academic standing, enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Urban Planning, Public Policy, or other non-technical discipline or relevant two-year certificate. PREFERRED LICENSES: Valid drivers license. This position is responsible for field inspections and attending community events, when public transportation might not be available.
