THE ROLE:

As the Category Manager for Indirect Procurement, you will lead the strategic sourcing and lifecycle management of global IT infrastructure. This high-impact role focuses on Data Center (Colocation), Lab environments, and Facility Infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing procurement roadmaps, managing complex supplier ecosystems, and ensuring the scalable growth of our technical operations through data-driven contract management.

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate possesses technical depth in high-tech procurement and the ability to operate with high autonomy. We are seeking a professional who can, Identify and execute sourcing initiatives that align with technical and financial objectives. Communicate complex procurement strategies to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Navigate fast-paced, innovation-driven environments within the technology sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Domain Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of Colocation (Colo), Lab hardware, Data Center construction, and IT Infrastructure to influence procurement decisions.
  • Strategy Development: Design, present, and execute multi-year procurement strategies for technical indirect spend categories.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning and negotiation of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) for goods and services.
  • Supplier Governance: Drive comprehensive supplier management strategies across global and regional environments, including performance auditing and risk mitigation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance teams to address supply challenges and capacity requirements.
  • Operational Excellence: Define and monitor KPIs aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP); implement continuous improvement programs for the supplier base.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Encourage early supplier involvement in new service designs to optimize cost, quality, and long-term serviceability.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Proven track record in Indirect Procurement focusing on Data Center infrastructure, facility construction, and Lab services.
  • Negotiation: Mastery of long-term blanket agreements and complex service contracts.
  • Analysis: Proficiency in spend analysis to identify efficiency opportunities and cost-avoidance strategies.
  • Tooling: Hands-on experience with eProcurement and eSourcing platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
  • Risk Management: Ability to assess and mitigate global supply chain risks and capacity constraints.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
