As a Crane and Hoist Technician, you'll complete inspections, perform scheduled maintenance, and make any necessary repairs to lifting equipment of various capacity and size. Recognize and understand safety critical parts and processes and immediately report safety concerns and other issues accordingly.

What you'll do:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists and gantries of various sizes and capacity.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures.
  • Inspect lifting systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct load tests and mechanical tests to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work with manufacturers and users to gather necessary parts and planning of part installations.
  • Prepare and enter inspection and repair information into CMMS.
  • Communicate issues, concerns and potential resolves to leadership.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair other industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Certification in hoist/crane inspection and repair.
  • 1+ years' experience in lifting equipment maintenance (overhead cranes, hoists, gantries)
  • 1+ years' experience of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams/ schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
  • Ability to fabricate and weld
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.
  • Ability to work at heights/ off of ground as well as industrial environments.
