The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is proud to offer paid summer internships for Reporting interns. These internships provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced, modern newsroom serving audiences across Atlanta, Georgia, and the South.

Reporting Intern Reporting interns join one of AJC's newsroom teams, including business, politics, opinion, metro/state, investigative, lifestyle, Black culture, or sports. Interns work as contributing reporters. You'll pitch ideas, report independently, write on deadline, and collaborate with editors, visuals, and audience teams. This role is ideal for students who want real newsroom experience and are excited to grow as digital-first journalists. What You'll Do

The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
