The Department of Family Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine of USC provides care for every member of the family, across generations and over lifetimes. We aim to enhance the quality of life for underserved and vulnerable patients while educating future generations of highly skilled, compassionate primary care specialists. Our goal is to combine education, patient advocacy, and evidence-based research to advance family medicine and geriatrics. USC Street Medicine Workforce Development and Education's vision is to support the development of a robust and sustainable street medicine workforce in California and beyond. The Project Specialist position for USC Street Medicine Workforce Development and Education will support projects administered by the Workforce Development and Education team. The project specialist will be assigned a project or series of projects and will contribute to meeting the associated deliverables. Common projects and deliverables include developing and delivering street medicine curriculum, providing technical assistance for developing street medicine teams, planning and conducting street medicine events, and developing and executing research protocols. The project specialist will work under the direction of the Director of Workforce Development and Education on project priorities and assigned tasks. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of being detail-oriented and highly organized who thrives in a dynamic environment. Knowledge and experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection procedures is a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with office software is required for this position. This is a full-time, position at the Los Angeles, CA campus with a minimum of three days on campus, based on division needs. Travel is an expected component of this position which may, in rare circumstances, include weekends. Duties include, but are not limited to:
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 2 years Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experiences Preferred Education: Masters's degree Preferred Experience: 3 years The hourly rate range for this position is $30.25 - 33.34.
