Position Overview: As a Cyber Security Intern, you will assist our Information Security team in identifying and mitigating security threats to our organization. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience in cybersecurity fundamentals, exposure to real-world challenges, and the opportunity to contribute to critical security projects. You will work closely with various teams and gain valuable insights into how an enterprise addresses security in today's digital landscape. Responsibilities: Assist in monitoring, identifying, and responding to security events and incidents using SIEM tools. Support vulnerability assessment and management processes, including scans and reporting. Monitor and analyze reported phishing emails to determine threat level and appropriate response. Assist in investigating and triaging potential phishing attempts, working closely with the Incident Response team. Monitor and respond to security alerts generated by Microsoft 365 Defender, including alerts from Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, and Cloud App Security. Participate in security awareness training sessions and create informational materials for users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security-related projects and initiatives. Requirements: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Basic knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing landscape.
