Chemonics seeks a Sr. Manager, Project Support for the USG Portfolio under the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. The senior project support manager is responsible for operational leadership for day-to-day compliance and financial oversight of assigned projects. The role ensures supporting multiple projects of advanced complexity together with roles in new business. The senior project support manager will collaborate with other staff to ensure adherence to contract, task orders or cooperative agreements and addresses risk mitigation measures. Ensures adherence with company policies, applicable law and regulations, and client requirements. The role also supports business development opportunities and serves as a supervisor to junior project support staff.

Responsibilities:
*Manages day-to-day support to one or more project teams and/or clients, overseeing adherence to contractual requirements, client regulations, and Chemonics policies
*Oversees financial management of the project's contract or agreement by reviewing invoices for accuracy and compliance; responsible for tracking expenditures, coordinating development and monitoring of annual corporate budget, and regular forecasting of expenditures for Chemonics and client.
*Identifies and resolves issues or potential risks, including project performance, financial, legal, and other core business areas. Escalates complex matters to leadership as needed.
*Takes initiative to identify business opportunities, efficiencies, and cost savings for the business unit (BU)
*Identifies opportunities for knowledge- and solution-sharing across company and takes initiative to build staff and company capacity
*Monitor and support project operations, for Procurements, grants and administrative process to align with required standards
*Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day operational issues.
*Coordinate with project offices to address requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
*Develop risk mitigation strategies and lead problem-solving with project office staff.
*Participate in new business efforts in line roles as part of proposal team
*Supervises and mentors, assigned staff; provides regular clear performance goals and feedback to supervisees
*Mentors and advises staff across the BL (e.g., associates, managers, and others) as appropriate on a range of topics, including business development, accurate financial and administrative processes, and project support
*Demonstrates inclusive behaviors and leadership consistent with Chemonics' values and leadership competencies
*Serves in the acting director capacity as required
*Performs other duties as required

Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree; master's degree preferred
*Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience; including financial oversight and compliance required
*Thorough understanding of donor/client regulatory and contract management
*Demonstrated experience working on one or more projects while simultaneously engaged in more progressively complex proposal roles
*Excellent organizational and communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
*Willingness to travel up to 8 weeks per year
*Language proficiency for assigned geographic area preferred

The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $80,100 - $100,100.

An employee's pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.

Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
