POSITION SUMMARY: Under direction of the Training Manager, the EHR Trainer is a specialist in the business process, Epic Applications, and BMC systems. The Principal Trainer is responsible for training clinicians on the use of BMC information systems and the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Epic training program for the assigned application(s). The EHR Trainer translates workflow strategies into training scripts, working independently and on teams to coordinate training activities and develop training materials, job aids, and promotional materials for the assigned application. This specialist works closely with clinical departments in developing training plans. The EHR Trainer maintains high credibility at BMC and participates in clinical information system implementation activities and provides input into Information Services staff decisions about system design and flow. This specialist coordinates logistics and education materials related to training programs. Works closely with training and project teams to ensure upkeep on all training environments, intranet content, and classrooms. Act as a user liaison, communicating feedback from users regarding patient care systems to the application implementers. This forward-thinker identifies opportunities to apply technology to improving business processes within strategic system goals. Compensation Range: $78,000.00- $113,000.00This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
