Treasury Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Treasury Analyst for a hybrid position (6-10 days per month in office) located in Kansas City, MO. This is a contract opportunity.

Pay range: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour, w2, depending on skill and experience level.

This role will support the treasury function for a Leading Financial Technology Company. The ideal candidate will assist with daily cash management, financial reporting, and the analysis of treasury operations to optimize liquidity and mitigate financial risk.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily cash positioning and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate reporting of cash balances across multiple bank accounts
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making
• Maintain and update treasury management systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Assist in the preparation of treasury-related reports for management, including cash flow statements, and investment performance summaries
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other departments on various projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a treasury, finance, or accounting role, preferably within a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, including cash management, banking operations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with Excel Pivot Tables and VLookup
• Experience with treasury cash management systems or ERP systems, Workday is a plus
