Job Description:
AriensCo is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Distribution Center in Fayetteville, TN. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00A-4:30P with some Friday's Starting pay $20 hr. THE DAY TO DAY...
Coordinates incoming drivers with the appropriate loading dock by maintaining appointment schedules with carriers Manages documents, including pick tickets, bills of lading, packing lists, and signs drivers out after loading Manages urgent situations to ensure timely order and shipment execution and communicates concerns that may cause delays in product availability Acts as the primary liaison for ETAs and advising of schedule changes Resolves shipping and availability issues with the scheduling team and Customer Service, responsible for internal correspondence regarding customer requests Creates and assembles LTL documents for shipments as well as all required parcel paperwork and processes Coordinates problem solving activities and implements corrective actions for the root causes of product availability to our customers Provides completed shipping information for International orders Enters transfers and receipts into AS400 system Operate forklift or pallet jacks to assist in loading or moving product Responsible for learning, maintaining and applying daily 6S standards within work area Responsible for following all safety standards and working safely and health consciously at all times Performs other duties as assigned to meet customer needs
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
High School diploma or GED is required 2 years of relevant shipping & receiving exp. Forklift experience Ability to operate a variety of PC based programs is a must Required to frequently walk, sit for at least 10 hours a day Required to lift at least 35 lbs. at varying frequencies Frequently twist, reach, bend, push, pull and squat as needed to move materials Required to wear safety glasses and safety shoes Willingness to work in hot, humid or cold conditions Regular use of computer, keyboard and mouse
