Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to understand part requirements

  • Select the right tools, equipment, and methods to achieve required finishes and tolerances

  • Operate a variety of deburring and finishing equipment, including lathes, tumbling equipment, microscopes, grinders, and hand tools

  • Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications

  • Identify and resolve issues by troubleshooting processes and making adjustments

  • Apply techniques to repair or salvage complex assemblies when possible

  • Maintain required operator certifications and safety standards

  • Recommend improvements to tools, equipment, and processes to increase efficiency and quality

  • Support teammates by sharing knowledge, answering questions, and helping train others

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Experience in deburring, finishing, or precision metalworking

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications

  • Familiarity with measurement tools and surface finish requirements

  • Comfort using hand tools, grinders, lathes, and other shop equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED

Hiring Range:$22.00- $27.00/hr with a 15% 2nd shift differential. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
