Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • Doctoral degree in Psychology; forensic specialization preferred.
  • Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum 5 years of forensic behavioral health experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience conducting evaluations required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with compliance, EHR systems, data analysis, and continuous quality improvement.


Description

Merakey is seeking a Licensed Psychologist with strong forensic and supervisory experience to be the Program Director for a new, cuttingedge courtbased competency evaluation and assessment program serving justiceinvolved individuals with serious mental illness.


This role offers the chance to build an innovative evaluation model in partnership with nationally renowned forensic psychology experts-right in the 6th largest city in the U.S, Philadelphia. You'll shape systemlevel solutions that speed the delivery of justice and improve outcomes for people experiencing behavioral health challenges.



What You'll Do



  • Lead and supervise a team of forensic psychology professionals.
  • Oversee program operations: workflow, compliance, staffing, budgeting, and quality.
  • Ensure highquality, timely competency evaluations and psychological assessments.
  • Drive program policy, protocols, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Partner with courts, behavioral health agencies, and justicesystem stakeholders to enhance coordination, deflection, and diversion.
  • Collaborate with local universities to build a forensic psychology training pipeline.
