Staff Therapist I, Counseling Center The University of Illinois at Chicago Counseling Center (UICCC) is recruiting qualified applicants to join our dynamic, diverse, and social-justice oriented staff for a full-time, 12-month position as a Crisis Counselor. UICCC has been serving the University of Illinois at Chicago for more than 35 years, is part of the Division of Student Affairs, and is fully accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services, Inc. UICCC is the main provider of mental health services on campus and provide comprehensive psychological services to eligible students including assessment, individual and group therapy, psychiatry, crisis services, consultation, referral, outreach, and mind-body programming. UICCC staff includes licensed psychologists, licensed therapists, crisis counselors, a board- certified psychiatrist, and a case manager. Position Description: The Staff Therapist I positions will involve direct service to university students (brief counseling/psychotherapy, assessment, group therapy, and outreach programming), consultation/liaison to faculty and staff, and opportunity to participate in training of Counseling Center postdocs, interns, and externs. Salary Range/Benefits: This position eligible for benefits. This includes Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, a Retirement Plan, Paid time Off, and Tuition waivers for employees and dependents. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $89,000. We strive to provide a competitive salary, considering factors such as available market data, internal equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. The final salary offer will be determined through a thorough assessment of these elements.
