SUMMARY:

The HR Systems Analyst provides daytoday support and maintenance of Workday HCM as the foundational HR enterprise platform, while also supporting other key and emerging systems. This role contributes to cross-functional optimization efforts and business as usual (BAU) process improvement initiatives.

Additionally, acts as cross-functional project support and general subject matter expert (SME) to troubleshoot system issues, providing solutions and identifying improvement opportunities that drive operational efficiency and improved data integrity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions that simplify business processes and align to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) roadmap; may support Senior Analysts when presenting recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of system capabilities, primarily within Workday, while supporting related systems within the broader application ecosystem; continuously monitor Workday delivered enhancements through hosted webinars and Workday Community to guide business stakeholders on optimized processes, best practices, and advanced functional/technical solutions.

  • Lead or support implementations, migrations and upgrades related to processes and technologies.

  • Partner with SMEs, team members, and stakeholders to develop and deliver system configuration enhancements that support business needs.

    • Translate functional and technical requirements into effective system designs and configurations; configure and test Human Resources business processes, conditional logic, and/or eligibility rules.

  • Participate in cross-functional workgroups (e.g., integrations, reporting, security) across Workday domains/functional areas (i.e., SCM, HR, Finance, and Technology); demonstrate familiarity with less complex integrations and provide input into the design or modification of integrations related to Human Resources, including data exchange with Workday and other platforms.

  • Provide Tier 1 production support; identify, analyze, and communicate system issues to Human Resources leadership and propose alternative solutions; apply critical thinking to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation for Human Resources processes.

  • At the direction of the Workday Release Manager, participate in biannual Workday releases for assigned Human Resources in accordance with established testing plans and timelines; review release notes, recommend feature adoption, partner with SMEs to develop test scripts, provide testing guidance, and research and resolve issues.

  • Gather reporting requirements from nontechnical users; advise on reporting best practices and technical considerations; develop new or enhance existing reports as needed; support the Human Resources reporting and analytics strategy to enable informed decisionmaking, continuous improvement, and user adoption.

  • Create and execute Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) uploads to support mass data maintenance; validate file format, data integrity, and successful processing.

  • Work collaboratively within a team environment; escalate complex or highrisk issues to Senior Analysts as appropriate.

  • Engage in crossfunctional AI initiatives utilizing Workday and integrated Human Resources systems to drive process optimization and actionable insights.

  • Support additional systems and perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Workday or a comparable ERP platform.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience translating business needs into technical system solutions.

  • Proven ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.

Preferred

  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and supporting process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of Human Resources processes.

  • One or more Workday certficiations

Pay Range:

$74,672.00-$123,198.40
