As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Beeville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter, adjusting to varying conditions by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or signs of criminal activity, and take appropriate action to help to deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with location management, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and required documentation, communicate observations during shift handoffs, and assist with access control, key control, and/or securing doors and gates according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
