As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support customers and team members with clear communication, quick issue reporting, and a calm, professional presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, back-of-house areas, and parking lots to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, crowd control, and coordinating with management and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas for suspicious behavior, support receipt check processes when assigned, and report potential loss prevention concerns to site leadership per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site contacts using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
