As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-end retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and store teams with courteous customer service, clear communication, and timely incident reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests in a high-end retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and potential loss prevention concerns, and communicate observations to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disturbances and assisting with orderly resolution when appropriate.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and participate in shift briefings and/or coordination with law enforcement when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
