As a Security Officer - Access Control Post in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential community where you will manage access control, greet residents and guests, and verify credentials to help support authorized entry. You will stay visible at the gate or lobby, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, respond to security-related concerns, and document activity with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control at entry points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, issuing visitor instructions, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and/or gate equipment as assigned, reporting irregular activity and maintenance concerns through the established notification process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency services and/or site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the residential community and perimeter, completing reports, documenting security-related observations, and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
